Hà giang

Ha Giang is a province located in the far north of Vietnam. It contains the country’s northernmost point. It shares a 270 km long border with Yunnan province of southern China.  The Ha Giang province covers an area of almost 8000 square kilometers. It has a population of about 730,000 people and most of them are hill tribe with various languages, costumes, life style, customs and practices.

Ha Giang offers travelers a glimpse of Vietnam from a bygone era. The lively local markets form the lifeblood of the province and villagers in traditional dress gather from miles around to trade, eat and gossip.
